Championship hockey kicks off today



The first day of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championships will kick off at Wessman Arena in Superior today, March 15.

In the first semifinal, Plattsburgh State University (N.Y.) will take on Middlebury College (Vt.) beginning at 3:30 p.m. CDT. Live stats for the game can be followed here, and the live video web stream can be accessed here.

The second semifinal will feature Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) and Elmira College (N.Y.), and that game will get underway at 7:00 p.m. CDT. Live stats for the game can be followed here and the live video web streak can be accessed here.

Tickets for the games are on sale now and can be purchased online through the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship site. Online ticket sales will be suspended at 12:00 p.m. CDT, and from that point forward tickets can only be purchased at the Wessman Arena ticket office.
