UMAC Jerome Kruse Memorial Award

The Jerome Kruse Memorial Award is in honor of Jerome Kruse, longtime athletic director of Northwestern (Wis.) and later Martin Luther. Kruse's life ended early and because of his dedication to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and to the student-athlete the award was created in honor of him.UMAC Logo

The annual award, first presented for the 1996-97 season, travels to the institution with the most points accumulated by the place finishes of its athletic teams in the final regular-season standings of 18 conference-sponsored sports.

UW-Superior won the trophy for the first time in the 2021-22 season.

A complete history of past champions of the award is available here.
