The University of Wisconsin-Superior has announced that Morgan MacLean has resigned his position as head coach of the Yellowjacket women's soccer program. MacLean, who also worked in academic advising and more recently held another position in theYellowjacket athletics department will work his final day on campus Tuesday, January 31.

"On behalf of the athletics department and all of UW-Superior I can't thank Morgan enough for his service to the women's soccer program and the university, said UW-Superior Athletics Director Nick Bursik. "He has been coaching collegiate soccer for more than a decade and I know he is excited to take on a new challenge, working locally in soccer at the grassroots level. Everyone here at UW-Superior wishes Morgan nothing but the best in his new endeavor."

A national search to fill the head coaching vacancy is underway.
