Falcon Classic - Results (4/22/2017)
The University of Wisconsin Superior wrapped up the second half of its 2016-17 season with a second-place finish at the Falcon Classic hosted by the University of Wisconsin River Falls at River Falls Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
The host Falcons claimed the top four spots on the leaderboard to run away victors while UW-Superior was the only other team to sport a full line-up at the event, finishing second. Rookie
Paige Miller (Osceola, Wis./Osceola H.S.) finished fifth on the day carding a 91 (+19) on the day while edging out first-year teammate
Ally Busick (Osceola, Wis./Osceola H.S.) who finished sixth at +23 on the par-72, 6,012-yard course. Sophomore
Reggie Semanko (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern) finished at +31 on the day while rookie
Kristine Britton (Lake Nebagamon, Wis./Northwestern H.S.) rounded out the field at +41.
The Yellowjackets, who finished third at last fall's UMAC Championships meet, close out their 2016-17 with top-three finishes in 10 events, including six second-place finishes. UW-Superior will be back on the course this fall looking to regain the UMAC title that they earned during their inaugural season in 2015-16.
