UMAC Player of the Week Awards (April 3, 2017)

The 2016-17 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's top female field competitor during the indoor season continues to earn UMAC honors for the University of Wisconsin Superior as junior Svenja Ruehl (Kirchuers, Germany/Gymnasium Philippinum Marburg) was named the UMAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

At Saturday's Hamline University Invitational, Ruehl placed third overall in the long jump, and second among NCAA Division III athletes with a mark of 5.15 meters. The jump currently has Ruehl ranked 59th on the NCAA Division III list.
