Located on the south end of the UW-Superior campus, Wessman Arena is the home of the Yellowjacket men's and women's hockey teams as well as the Superior High School boys hockey team. In 2006, a $1.1 million locker room addition was constructed and additional locker room enhancements were made in 2023. During the summer of 2025, new boards and glass were installed alongside other recent renovations, including new ice-making equipment, new flooring, and an updated sound system.
Wessman Arena served as the site of the 1994, 2000 and 2007 NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Championships, as well as the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship. Seating capacity is just over 1,500.
