The Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse is part of the Marcovich Wellness Center, which opened on the UW-Superior campus in 2003. The fieldhouse, which is one of the finest indoor multi-purpose facilities in the Upper Midwest, serves as the indoor home of the Yellowjacket track and field teams. The amenities and configurations make it ideal for hosting conference and national track and field events. UW-Superior has hosted the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) indoor championship meet since the 2021-22 season.
Additionally, the Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse houses an indoor climbing wall, four basketball/volleyball courts and two batting cages on rubberized floors.
