Also on Saturday, the Yellowjacket women's soccer team will be wearing pink as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The nine soccer teams of the WIAC will all host a game this year dedicated to a specific cause, as part of the conference's "Playing for a Cause" campaign. The Yellowjackets chose breast cancer awareness and will wear pink in the game.

In October, the Yellowjacket volleyball team will also host a game to raise breast cancer awareness as part of a conference-wide effort to support the cause. The Yellowjackets will host their event on October 28 when UW-Platteville comes to Mertz Mortorelli Gym.
