Box Score The University of Wisconsin Superior scored book-end goals in the first and third periods and held on through a comeback attempt by St. Olaf College as the Yellowjackets knocked off the Oles 2-1 in Northfield, Minnesota on Tuesday night.
UW-Superior (10-13-0) made it three-straight victories on the night. Senior

Amanda Coey (Brandon, Man./Crocus Plains H.S.). The Yellowjackets held the lead through the first two periods, but St. Olaf (7-13-1) had an answer 49 seconds into the third period when Megan Skelly scored for the Oles, assisted by Xandi Swedberg and Jane Vezina. Martinson would score the go-ahead goal for UWS at the midpoint of the period, following up a four-goal performance last time out with the game-winner at 10:25 of the third, assisted by junior
Emily Heid (Elk River, Minn./Elk River H.S.).
Senior
Kim Kobar (The Pas, Man./Margaret Barbour Collegiate) needed just 13 stops to pick up the victory, while the goaltending duo of Hailey Simpson and Mae Moris combined for 27 saves for St. Olaf. The two teams would finish scoreless on special teams in the game, with the Yellowjackets finishing 0-for-2 on the powerplay while the Oles ended the day 0-for-3 with the skater advantage.
