ASHLAND, Wis. (September 27, 2017) – The Yellowjackets tied the Lumberjills on the road after a tight fought game that included five shots on goal for Superior.

Britt Zieroth (Twig, Minn./Proctor), Liza Shelquist (Pine Island, Minn./Pine Island) and Emma Street (Oak Grove, Minn./St. Francis) each contributed two shots each to the cause, but came up short. Zieroth and Street each had two shots in overtime, but Zieroth's went wide, while Street's went wide.

Bailey Henderson (Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul) played the entire 110 minutes for the Yellowjackets, and made six saves on the day.

Superior will stay on the road this weekend as they head to Bethany Lutheran Sept. 30 for a 4:15 game against the Vikings.
