SUPERIOR, Wis. – The UW-Superior men's hockey team is ranked No. 11 in the latest USCHO.com Men's Division III Poll, released by the organization on Monday.
It marks the first time since Jan. 2, 2012 that the Yellowjackets have been ranked in the poll.
The 'Jackets (12-2-1, 5-2-0 WIAC) earned 83 points in the voting, sitting ahead of Wilkes in 12th with 65 points and No. 13 Williams with 60. Stevenson and Adrian (46) are tied for 14th.
Trinity is atop the poll for the second consecutive week with an 11-1-0 record. The Bantams earned 17-of-20 first-place votes and 297 points.
UWS is coming off a pair of wins at home against Saint John's, 6-2, and Concordia (Minn.), 5-1, Friday and Saturday.
The 'Jackets hit the road for the next two games, playing at Gustavus Adolphus Saturday at 7 p.m., and St. Thomas Sunday at 4 p.m.
