MANKATO, Minn. -- Three players tallied double-figure kills as the UW-Superior earned its sixth sweep of the season with a 25-12, 26-24, 25-21 victory over Bethany Lutheran at North Gym on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets took just 68 minutes to move to 13-9 overall and 9-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, picking up their 11th win in the last 14 matches.

A Pryd kill and service ace tied the set at 19-19. With the set tied at 23-all, the Yellowjackets won three of the final four to win the set on a Kaylin Plautz (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) kill, Hailey Atwood (Big Lake, Minn./Big Lake) ace and BLC error.

UWS took a 10-4 lead in the third set on an Atwood kill. Bethany Lutheran rallied to cut the lead to 12-11 with a Paloma Garcia De Fuentes ace. UWS, though, scored the next five and eight of 10 points to push the lead to 20-13.
