NEW ULM, Minn. -- Senior right-hander
Bryce Flanagan (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd Senior) scattered four hits and one run over seven innings as the UW-Superior baseball team claimed the series at Martin Luther with a 13-1 victory on Wednesday.
Flanagan stuck out three and walked two, allowing just a solo home run to MLC's Jonas Lindemann in the second inning, to improve to 2-2 on the year.

Superior outhit the Knights, 10-5, on the day and benefitted from five Martin Luther errors, resulting in four unearned runs.
UWS jumped on MLC starter Reagan Moore (0-3) for four runs over the first two innings to grab a 4-1 lead.
Isaac Fugere (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) lined a single to center field to score
Payton Steiner (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo), who earlier doubled, for a 1-0 advantage. After Fugere stole second and
Christian Garcia (Blue Springs, Mo./Blue Springs) walked,
Jordan Trimble (Victorville, Calif./Grandview (Colo.)) coaxed a second straight free pass to force in Flanagan.
The 'Jackets plated a pair of unearned runs in the second and added two more runs in the fifth, as
Jonny Rhodes (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) reached on an error following a sacrifice bunt that scored Garcia.

UWS made it 9-1 in the eighth with a
Ben Rhodes (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) RBI double, Flanagan RBI groundout and with Steiner scoring on a throwing error.
With two runs already in in the top of the ninth, Johnson pinch hit for
Mike Rodriguez (Chicago, Ill./Gordon Tech) and took a 2-1 offering form Bobby Larsen over the fence in right for his first homer of the year and third of his career.
Steiner pitched the final two innings, allowing one hit with one strikeout. He was 2-for-4 with three runs scored, two walks and an RBI at the plate.
Ben Rhodes (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, a walk and three steals, igniting the offense from the No. 2 spot in the lineup.
Martin Luther fell to 3-22 overall and 3-12 in the UMAC with the loss.
UWS opens a three-game set at Crown Friday at 3 p.m.
