SUPERIOR, Wis. – Yellowjacket Athletics is excited to announce the release of its fan rewards program on its new mobile app, Swarm Central. The app was created through a partnership with the national company FanMaker.
 
"This is something that has been months in the making, and we are very excited to finally be able to release Swarm Central," said Jon Garver, director of communications for Yellowjacket Athletics. "Swarm Central will house our rewards program and give us another vehicle to keep people up to date on everything going on with their favorite teams and hopefully get them more engaged with everything we are doing here."
 
Swarm Central is free and everyone is eligible to join. Users receive points by checking in when attending Yellowjacket sporting events, posting photos when they are attending events, going into the app daily and more. Users can then redeem their points to receive Yellowjacket promotional items, apparel, and free food from Yellowjacket corporate partners.
 
"The Yellowjackets are Superior's team, and this is a great way for everyone in the community to show their Yellowjacket fandom," Garver said. "Fans can get items by redeeming as few as 250 points, or they can accumulate them for items that cost as many as 5,000 points.
 
"You get 100 points just for registering, 100 points for downloading the app, and five points for checking in every day. There are points for answering trivia questions, participating in polls and being active at games. It really is a great way to help drive fan engagement and we are excited to see this help to grow our fan base and get them more involved with Yellowjacket Athletics."
 
To get started, users simply download the app from either the Apple or Google app stores, create their account and immediately begin accumulating points.
