SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) unveiled its women's golf postseason awards in an announcement Wednesday, and three Superior student-athletes received All-UMAC citations.
 
Sophomore Olivia Weyenberg (Stacy, Minn./North Branch) was slated to the All-UMAC First Team, with junior Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) picking up All-UMAC Second Team honors. Earning a spot on the honorable mention squad was sophomore Karin Hill (Duluth, Minn/Denfeld).
 
Serving as UW-Superior's representative on the UMAC's sportsmanship team was sophomore Allie Maschke (Merrill, Wis./Merrill).
 
Weyenberg wrapped up the fall campaign as the top Yellowjacket scorer, finishing with a team-low average of 88.5. She played in all 14 rounds, finishing two events in the top-five and four in the top-ten. Weyenberg's best rounds came at the Twin Ports Collegiate, hosted by Nemadji Golf Club in Superior, as she fired rounds of 82 and 81 to grab third place on the individual leaderboard.
 
Parnell finished with a scoring average of 89.86, ranking second among her Yellowjacket teammates. She picked up a top-five finish while ranking within the top-ten in three events. After opening the 2024-25 season at the Falcon Invite with a 95, she shaved 12 strokes on day two, carding an 83. She also fired an 84 at the UMAC Preview, where she finished in a tie of second place.
 
Hill saw action in all 14 rounds played, averaging a team-fourth 95.86. She finished the UMAC Preview by shooting an 18-over 90 for a tie of seventh place. Her lowest round came at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, opening the tournament with a round of 89, which is the best round of her Yellowjacket career to date.
 
The Yellowjackets continue the second portion of their season in the spring of 2025.
