SUPERIOR, Wis. – Saturday afternoon the Yellowjacket men's soccer team returned to Superior Choice Credit Union Stadium, hosting Martin Luther in UMAC play. Earlier this season the 'Jackets traveled to New Ulm, Minnesota and produced six goals in both squad's first meeting of the year, and the Yellowjackets turned things up a notch for the second match.

Four first-half goals and six second-half goals propelled the Yellowjackets to a 10-0 victory over the Knights, giving UW-Superior its seventh consecutive UMAC regular season championship.

Match Notes
- The 'Jackets opened play and rifled a swift five shots at Knights' goalie Nicholas Russ. He made two saves while seeing the other three shots go wide.
- At the sixth minute of play, Freddy Watson (Wendover, England/Berkshire College of Agriculture) fired a shot past Russ for the first goal of the match. Just three minutes later Watson struck again, this time taking a feed from Felipe Oliveira (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Colegio Soma) for his second mark of the day.
- UWS continued to pour on the offensive attacks, but Russ made some impressive saves and halted the Yellowjackets' momentum.
- During the 21st minute of play the Yellowjackets grabbed their third goal of the afternoon, as a Martin Luther defender redirected the ball into their own goal.
- Four minutes ticked off the scoreboard and Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior) finished a goal as Oliveira set him up for his team-leading 14th goal of the campaign.
- As the second half of play resumed, the Yellowjackets scored four goals in a span of six minutes. Rowan Wagner (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) rifled a shot that resulted in his first goal of the season, with an assist from Alfie Hudd (Exeter, England/Exeter).
- Aaron Shartin-Folkert (Hudson, Wis./Somerset) had a hot foot from the 53rd and 55th minutes of play, as he tallied a pair of unassisted goals to boost the 'Jackets by seven goals.
- Karsten Kletti (Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake Area) received an assist on Kidd's second goal of the match at the 56th minute, leaving UW-Superior with an eight-goal cushion.
- As Yellowjacket head coach Joe Mooney turned to his bench, the offensive output didn't let up. The final goal of the day came from Elijah Aultman (Esko, Minn./Cloquet), who netted his second collegiate goal. Adam Kaffel (London, England/Barnet School in London) would be tabbed with the helper.
- UW-Superior's backline was lights out Saturday, allowing just one shot in the full 90 minutes.
- Carter Lansdale (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy) received the start in net, playing a full 90 minutes and collecting the first shutout of his Yellowjacket career.
- Kidd led the offensive with nine total shots taken, with Shartin-Folkert and Watson following with eight and six, respectively.
- UWS garnered 52 total shots with 25 on frame.
