KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches slated senior defender Josh Bellamy (High Wycombe, England/FAB Football Academy) to its NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Scholar All-American list, the organization announced Thursday.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must be nominated by a member of the United Soccer Coaches that is a junior or above in athletic standing, have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average throughout their career, play a minimum of 75% of game during the season of nomination, and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., All-American, All-Region, All-Conference).

Bellamy, who boasts a 3.489 grade point average as a Business Administration major, started 23 matches of 24 played. He enjoyed a season that saw him finish second on the Yellowjackets in goals (13) and assists (11), while compiling 1,577 minutes of match action. Bellamy garnered a shooting percentage of .178 with 73 total shots and 37 shots on goal. Additionally, he claimed an All-UMAC First Team selection throughout his Yellowjacket career.

The Yellowjackets became the first men's soccer team in UW-Superior's and the UMAC's history to advance to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. They also led all three NCAA Divisions in total goals scored, while leading Division III in most offensive categories. Superior capped the 2024 season with an overall record of 18-4-3.
