Yellowjackets Put 137 on UMAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – A conference-leading 137 Yellowjacket student-athletes across nine seasons received recognition on the 2023-24 Winter and Spring Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Academic All-Conference Team, the conference announced Wednesday.

In addition to the individuals, the Yellowjacket men's track and field team had the highest team grade point averages during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. The indoor team posted a cumulative team grade point average of 3.41, while the outdoor roster posted a 3.49.

Across the conference, 754 student-athletes were honored, breaking the previous record of 647 set in 2022-23. For the academic year, 1,312 student-athletes were honored, up from the 1,149 that were honored a year ago.

To be eligible, student-athletes must post a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during their respective semester of competition.
