SUPERIOR, Wis. – UW-Superior student-athletes logged a 3.379 grade point average in the fall 2024 semester, director of athletics Nick Bursik announced Tuesday.

"Largely influencing this effort are the 276 student-athletes who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher," Bursik said. "This achievement is a credit to our collective focus and support of the academic success of our student-athletes. This continues to be an area of pride for our institution," he continued.

58 Yellowjackets wrapped up the fall semester with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, while 21 obtained a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. A combined 213 Superior student-athletes achieved academic honors, consisting of 73 summa cum laude (3.850 or above), 79 magna cum laude (3.60-3.849) and 61 cum laude (3.40-3.599) honorees.

Men's hockey earned the best fall grade point average among men's teams at 3.566, while women's basketball logged a 3.743 among women's teams.
