COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Yellowjacket men's soccer team hit the road Friday afternoon for a non-conference matchup with Saint John's. This game between the 'Jackets and Johnnies would be their first since 2019 in which UWS won 1-0. This time the Johnnies had the 'Jackets number as UWS fell 7-2.

UWS answered back three minutes later as Orlando Fertleman (London, England/Aldenham) found the back of the net off a pass from Harvey McLoughlin (London, England/Highgate Woods) to even up the score.

In the 77th minute Bryce Boldt (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) drew a foul in the box which allowed Taylor Moore (Billings, Mont./Skyview) to step up and net a penalty shot, to give the 'Jackets a second goal on the afternoon.

Saint John's outshot UW-Superior 17-16 and as well as 12-8 in shots on goal. For UWS Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior) and Kyle Massingham (Nuneaton, England/Future Pro College) led the way in shots, both having three.
The Yellowjackets (9-5, 7-0 UMAC) return home tomorrow as they host Crown with opening kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at SCCU Stadium.
