SUPERIOR, Wis. – Tuesday evening the Yellowjacket women's soccer team competed in their final non-conference action of the regular season, playing host to Macalester. The Scots drew first blood in the second portion of the first half and the 'Jackets countered shortly after, but a pair of goals in the second boosted Macalester to its eighth victory at 3-1.

- It took nearly a half hour for a team to find the back of the net, but at the 29th minute of play Annelise McGee snuck one past Yellowjacket keeper Quinn Clark (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) to break the scoring.
- Five minutes later the 'Jackets struck, as Julia Lindow (Richfield, Minn./Richfield) sent a pass to Emma Wright (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji), who produced a touch for Brook Judnick (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown), who leveled the match at 1-1.
- The Scots maintained the offensive pressure in the first half but couldn't strike until the second half, as a pair of goals at the 54th and the 59th minute provided a two-goal edge at 3-1.
- The Scots collected an 18-10 edge on shots, including a 9-5 edge on shots on net.
- Clark made six saves on the evening, while the Scots had a pair of keepers in Lily Salazar and Ramatoulaye Bah.
- Niamh Larson (Brookfield, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) represented half of Superior's offense, logging five-of-10 shots on the evening.
