NEW ULM, Minn. - The UWS men's soccer team entered their match Friday on a six-game win streak and an undefeated start in UMAC play. Standing in their way was Martin Luther who the Yellowjackets have beat in 17 straight matchups. Ultimately UWS made that streak 18 wins as they scored six goals in the first half in route to a 7-1 victory over the Knights.  

Match Notes: 

• Harvey McLoughlin (London, England/Highgate Woods) netted the first goal of the match for UWS as he shot one past the Knights keeper in the tenth minute of play.  

• 50 seconds later Kyle Massingham (Nuneaton, England/Future Pro College) added a second Yellowjacket goal to make the score 2-0.  

• Bryce Boldt (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) added another goal to UWS tally making the score 3-0 off an assist from Taylor Moore (Billings, Mont./Skyview).  

• The next goal the roles were reversed as Moore got a feed from Boldt to make the score 4-0. 

• Elijah Aultman (Esko, Minn./Cloquet) tallied another goal for UWS as he found the back of the net to make the score 5-0.  

• Martin Luther got on the board off a goal from Abraham Schlomer to cut the deficit to 5-1.  

• Aultman added his second goal of the half as he fired one past the Knights keeper to make the score 6-1.  

• Boldt added his second of the game in the 82nd minute of play to extend the lead to 7-1 for UWS.  

• UWS outshot Martin Luther 21-10 and were led by Boldt who had four with Aultman and Valentin Soares (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Equipe) having three each.  

The Yellowjackets are next in action Saturday as they play Bethany Lutheran. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Scheels Field in Mankato, Minn.
