SUPERIOR, Wis. – After nearly a month away from their home ice, the Yellowjacket women's hockey team returned home Tuesday to take on St. Scholastica in non-conference play.

Game Notes
- In the first minute of play the Saints found the back of the net, and at 14:33 they did the same thing.
- 15 seconds after the St. Scholastica's second goal the 'Jackets struck on the power play, as Kendal Gustavsson (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) scored the first goal for Superior after she took a feed from Maya Anderson (Cambridge, Minn./Totino-Grace).
- Neither team struck in the middle frame, but at 17:45 Gabby Gamst scored the third goal for the Saints.
- As the clock nearly struck under a minute, the Yellowjackets came within one goal as Aylie Dahl (Beaumont, Alberta/John Maland) sent one past Kieley Curow, but they weren't able to level the scoring, leading to a 3-2 loss to St. Scholastica.
- Veda Roeske (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area), Addison Fee (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) and Aspen Lukasezck (Aurora, Colo./Cherokee Trail) each had four shots on the night.
- Maddie Wostrel (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) had 23 saves on the night, falling to 1-3.

The Yellowjackets are back in action Saturday, taking on No. 7 St. Norbert. The opening faceoff inside the Cornerstone Community Center is set for 7 p.m.
