SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Following their eighth conference championship last weekend, the Yellowjacket men's cross country team was heavily recognized by the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), as they revealed its postseason awards in an announcement Wednesday morning.

Uitto, who established a new personal record for the third time this season, came in with a race time of 26:18.1, made his way to an All-UMAC First Team selection for the second time in his career. Plackner collected his first postseason honor, consistently shaving time off his 8k while finishing second in 26:32.1.
Hoogland, the league's reigning rookie of the year, was recognized on the league's first team after a 27:02.5. Meisner and Smith each garnered new PR's on the day, coming in at 27:13.9 and 27:56.3, respectively, for their first selections to the league's first team. Canfield and Parduhn rounded out the 'Jackets on the postseason awards, collecting times of 28:26.3 and 28:37.6, respectively. Parduhn's race time nearly shaved a full three minutes off his previous 8k time.
The Yellowjackets are back in action Saturday, Nov. 15 when they take on the NCAA North Regional. The race is slated for 12 p.m. at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis.
