ASHLAND, Wis—The Yellowjacket men's basketball team was back in action for this midweek Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) matchup against the Northland College LumberJacks, winning the game 80-56.
The 'Jackets continued their conference win streak with the 24-point advantage over the LumberJacks. It was all Yellowjackets in both halves as they led in points off turnovers, bench points, points in the paint, and fast break points.
The Yellowjackets are now 8-3 in conference play with an 11-11 overall record.

From then on, it was all Superior. With less than three minutes left to play, the 'Jackets would gain a 28-point lead, dominating the scoring game.

Walker led the 'Jackets in points with 18, followed by Johnson with 14, Andrew Beers (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) with 13 while Joey Barker (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) ended the contest with 12. Johnson ended the night going 4-9 behind the arc while Rocco Paulson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) went 4-4 at field goal range.
The Yellowjackets ended the night with a free throw percentage of 70.0, 12 steals, and a field goal percentage of 41.94. With the help of 21 bench points and 38 points from the paint, the Yellowjackets were in full control from the floor.
