SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Yellowjackets came into their midweek conference matchup against Northwestern riding a three-game winning streak. After victories over North Central and Crown UWS looked to stay undefeated in UMAC play.  

Match Notes:  

• Freddy Watson (Wendover, England/Berkshire College of Agriculture) got the scoring started early for UWS as he took feeds from Kyle Massingham (Nuneaton, England/Future Pro College) and Seth Davidson (Sartell, Minn./Sartell) in the third minute of play to give the Yellowjackets an early 1-0 lead.  

• Bryce Boldt (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) tacked onto the Yellowjacket lead 14 minutes later from a pass from Davidson making the lead 2-0. 

• In the 42nd minute UWS earned a free kick and took advantage as Alfie Hudd (Exeter, England/Exeter) found Joel Thomas (Cardiff, Wales/Islwyn) for a goal to extend the lead to 3-0. 

• Watson added his second goal of the match eight minutes into the second half off an assist Massingham to make the score 4-0.  

• Simeon Friesen cut into the Yellowjacket lead as he scored a goal off a free kick that bounced off the crossbar and over the line to make the score 4-1.  

• Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior) added a goal to the Yellowjacket tally in the 60th minute off an assist from Watson to make the score 5-1. 

• Moments later in the 60th minute Watson scored his third for the hat trick off a pass from Harvey McLoughlin (London, England/Highgate Woods) to make the score 6-1.  

• Seth Davidson (Sartell, Minn./Sartell) tallied a seventh goal for UWS on Massingham's third assist of the game in the 62nd minute.  

• Boldt added his second goal in the 72nd minute of play and got an assist from Davidson to extend the lead to 8-1.  

• UWS extended their lead to 9-1 off a goal by Jacob Steffes (Chaska, Minn./Chaska) coming off a pass by Jack Lay (South West London, England/Esher College) in the 84th minute.  

• UWS outshot the Eagles 16-7 and were led by Boldt who had four.  

The Yellowjackets are next in action tomorrow night as they host St. Scholastica with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at SCCU Stadium.
