NEW ULM, Minn. - Coming off their loss Wednesday night to Northwestern, the Yellowjacket men's basketball team looked to bounce back on the road against Martin Luther. The 'Jackets were able to do just that as they took the victory over the Knights 79-60.

The Knights got their lead back up to five, but Andrew Beers (Slinger, Wis./Slinger), Landen Thomer (Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee) and Evan Bennett (Superior, Wis./Superior) helped the 'Jackets jump in front taking a 33-31 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Superior was able to gain control, taking a lead off scores from Bennett and Hayden Quimby (Menasha, Wis./Xavier).

Down the stretch Stroschein, Bennett, Nathan Deprez (Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna) and Caiden Lecce (Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph Catholic) helped Superior put the finishing touches on their victory over Martin Luther.
The Yellowjackets (6-16, 2-7 UMAC) next travel to Bethany Lutheran. Tip-off between the Vikings and 'Jackets is set for 4:45 p.m. next Saturday in Mankato, Minn.
