MUNDELEIN, Ill. - The Yellowjacket men's golf team took on day two of the Forester Spring Invite hosted by Lake Forest. As a team Superior placed 15th for the tournament firing a score of 313 for the day.
Match Notes:
- Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) improved his score on day two by four strokes shooting a three over par 75 for his round.
- Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) was the best overall finisher for Superior placing 38th. On Saturday he fired a 76 carding two birdies in his round.
- Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) went seven over for his day two round with 38/41 split.
- Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) carded an 83 for his day two round and finishing 19 over for the tournament.
- August Lang (Somerset, Wis./Somerset) rounded out the Yellowjacket competitors finishing with an 89 for his round.
The Yellowjackets are next in action Friday as they host the UWS Spring Invite from Turtleback Golf Course in Rice Lake, Wis.
