NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Yellowjacket men's cross country team embarked on the St. Olaf Invitational Saturday. The 'Jackets finished 11th overall on the team leaderboard, competing against a field of some of the region's best programs.

Meet Notes

• Spearheading Superior was the duo of Maverick Hoogland (Catawba, Wis./Phillips) and Dylan Uitto (Ashland, Wis./Ashland), finishing their days with times of 26:33.5 and 26:39.1, respectively. 

• Ben Plackner (Bovey, Minn./Greenway) followed close by crossing the line with a time of 27:07.2. 

• Dominick Meisner (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer) was the fourth Yellowjacket finisher with a race time of 28:00.3.

• Jayde Canfield (Prescott, Wis./Prescott) and Evan Johnson (Prentice, Wis./Phillips) followed with times of 29:50.0 and 30:01.0, respectively. 

• Isaiah Jordan (Superior, Wis./Superior) ran close behind that duo and finished his race in 30:20.9. 

• Grady Wendt (Zimmerman, Minn./Zimmerman) and Milo Gomez (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) followed closely behind both putting up times of 30:38.1 and 31:08.9. 

• Oleksandr Danylov's (Kyiv, Ukraine/European Collegium) race time came in at 32:31.6, while Deryck Parduhn (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) followed at 33:44.2.

• Rounding off the squad this weekend was both Dorian Skaleski (Appleton, Wis./Appleton West) (35:04.1) and Peter Berg (Wheeler, Wis./Barron) (35:07.1) for the Yellowjackets.
   

UWS returns to action in two weeks, taking on the Running of the Cows. Action is set for the Bill Huyck Championship Course, hosted by Carleton College.
