KANSASVILLE, Wis. – The Yellowjacket men's golf team wrapped up day two of the Midwest Region Classic hosted by Benedictine University at The Brighton Dale Links. Superior finished the classic with a combined score of 595, shooting a 296 on Saturday which saw them crack the top 10, tying for 9th place on the team leaderboard.

Meet Notes 

• Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) led the Yellowjackets on day two as he shot a two-under 70 with a total of six birdies, five of which came on the on the back nine. 

• Colton Stupar (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) finished day 2 firing a 73 with a split of 36/37 with a trio of birdies on the day.  

• Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) wrapped up his final round with a 76 while also having three birdies on his scorecard. 

• Rounding off the group was both JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) and Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing). Glampe shot a 77 while Slatten fired a 78.

• For Superior's second entry, Ryan Kissner (Hugo, Minn./White Bear Lake) led the squad in the final round shooting a 76 with a 39/37 split that included two birdies on the back nine. 

• Following close behind was Caleb Harper (Vadnais Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran), who shot 79 in his final round.

• Cody Olinger (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake) and Avery Collins (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) were not far behind, shooting an 81 and 84, respectively.  

• Rounding off the second entry for Superior was Noah Bourque (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern) who fired off a 90 with a 46/44 split. 

The Yellowjackets are back in action Saturday as they compete at the Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College at Elk River Golf Club. Action is set for 1 p.m.
