HAM LAKE, Minn. – The Yellowjacket men's golf team took on day two of the Augsburg Fall Invite Sunday. The Yellowjackets finished the day in 10th place on the team leaderboard, shaving 21 strokes off their first day total for a 307. The second Yellowjacket team shaved 10 strokes off their collective score, shooting a 333 while finishing in 14th place.
Meet Notes
- Superior was led by Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond), who fired three birdies across his round to finish two-over 74.
- Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) followed with a 34 on the front nine and a 41 on the back, capping his day with a three-over 75. He finished in a tie of 21st place.
- Colton Stupar (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) ended his second round with a 39/38 split for a five-over 77. He logged two birdies on the front and followed with two more on the back nine.
- Ryan Kissner (Hugo, Minn./White Bear Lake) and JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) each had an 81 and 82, rounding out the first team.
- Cody Olinger (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake) led the second Yellowjacket squad, firing an 81.
- Caleb Harper (Vadnais Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran) and Avery Collins (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) each shot a 43/39 split for a collective 82.
- Jamin Durfee's (Superior, Wis./Superior) second round saw him shoot a 46 on the front and a 42 on the back for an 88.
- Noah Bourque (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern) rounded things out with a 93.
The 'Jackets are back in action Thursday for the UMAC Preview. Action is set for 10 a.m. at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
