2022: Went 5-4 with a 7.73 ERA in 64 innings over 12 games and eight starts ... Allowed 77 hits, 57 runs (55 earned) and 18 walks with 42 strikeouts ... Posted four complete games and one save ... Threw 8.1 innings of six-hit ball in his first collegiate start to beat Stockton, 4-3, on March 18 ... Struck out a career-high 10 in four innings out of the bullpen to earn the win in a 9-3 victory over Springfield on March 14 ... Turned in three consecutive complete games against Augsburg (March 25) at Northwestern (April 2) and against Bethany Lutheran (April 9) ... Struck out eight Vikings in a career-high nine innings that day with just 105 pitches ... Recorded two scoreless outings on the season -- March 14 against Springfield and April 16 versus Minnesota Morris ... Earned the save against the Cougars, nailing down a 4-3 victory with two innings of one-hit work with one K ... Named UMAC Academic All-Conference for the second time.

2021: Named All-UMAC First Team ... Pitched to a 2-1 record with a 4.81 ERA in 14 appearances and 24.1 innings out of the bullpen in his first full season at UWS ... Tied for the UMAC lead with three saves while striking out 25 with just 11 walks ... Limited the opposition to a .260 batting average ... Worked five scoreless outings, including three of his last four on the year ... Earned his first collegiate save on March 20 against Northland with a scoreless ninth inning to nail down a 15-14 win ... Earned his first career win in his next outing, holding Saint John's to two unearned runs and three hits in a career-high four innings, for a 8-7 walk-off victory on March 28 ... Moved to 2-0 with 3.2 innings in his next appearance to beat North Central, 11-10, on April 10 ... Also picked up saves at Minnesota Morris on April 24 with two innings of scoreless ball and versus Crown in the UMAC tournament on May 20, recording the final two outs ... Was 1-for-4 at the plate, as well ... Stroked a pinch-hit single up the middle in the fifth inning of a 22-8 victory over Northland on March 20.  

2020: Pitched two innings out of the bullpen against Grinnell on March 7 ... Struck out two, walked two and hit a batter ... Named UMAC Academic All-Conference.

Before UWS: Son of Rebecca Stouten and Randy Tappe ... Born Feb. 22, 2000 ... Graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 2018 ... Pitched for the Minnesota Mud Puppies of the Northwoods League in 2021 ... Appeared in 10 games, going 0-1 with a 6.19 ERA  in 16 innings with 16 strikeouts and one save ... Three-time Tri-Metro Conference honorable mention selection from 2016-18 ... Helped the Huskies to a Tri-Metro Conference championship in 2016 ... National Honor Society member ... Majoring in Marketing and Economics at UW-Superior.
