Marcus Kadinger is in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Yellowjacket men's basketball team in 2023-24. His roles include player development, game day preparation, teaching mindfulness skills, and recruiting coordinator for the Northwest Wisconsin region under head coach Greg Polkowski.
In addition to his coaching duties, Kadinger serves as a Mental Health Counselor in the Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) office at UW-Superior. Previously, he worked in the Center for Academic Advising, working with non-degree seeking students and Math and Computer Science majors.
A native of Glenwood City, Wis., Kadinger attended NCAA Division III Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis., captaining the Sabres for three seasons.
While in college, Kadinger would return to his high school alma mater of Glenwood City High School, serving as a coach for various summer league teams and leading both youth and varsity camps for the Hilltoppers.
Kadinger graduated from Marian in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He would further his education with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UW-Superior in 2023. He resides in Superior.
