2014-15 (Sophomore): After only running track as a freshman, Peterson will also run cross country...Earned his personal record October 19 at the AAE Invitational, coming in with a time of 28:23.6.

2013-14 (Freshman) During the indoor track season was a part of the distance medley relay team...Also part of the 4-x-400-meter relay team...Had multiple top-five finishes in the 800-meter run.

Before UWS: Was an All-Lake Superior Conference cross country runner in 2012 ... qualified for the Minnesota State Track and Field meet as a high school senior ... captained both the cross country and track and field teams for the Lumberjacks.
