WIAC Scholar Athlete ... top finish of his freshman year came at the Brooks Invitational where he completed the course in a time of 33:11 ... WIAC Scholar Athlete.

Before UWS: Competed at Ashland High School ... named cross country team's Most Improved Runner in 2011 ... part of Oredocker team that won the conference title in 2010 ... qualified for the state meet four times in high school - 2009-2012.
