2012-13: Played in all but one game as a freshman...Received a five-minute major and game disqualification at the conclusion of his first collegiate game, October 26 against St. Scholastica...Scored his first collegiate goal in a 3-1 loss to St. Norbert on January 12.

Before UWS: Won championships at several levels...In 2008-09 was part of the HJHL North Division champions...Won 2010 CJHL championship...In 2011 he was named the Best Defenseman and Most Valuable Player of the Stettler Lightning...Played 2011-12 season with the Sylvan Lake Admirals...Helped Admirals win Chinook Hockey League regular season title.
