2022: Named All-UMAC Honorable Mention and to the UMAC All-Defensive Team ... Batted .364 (43-for-118) in 42 starts as a sophomore ... Hit 10 doubles, one triple had 31 RBIs and scored 28 runs ... Stole seven bases in eight attempts ... Tied for third on the team with 10 multiple-RBI games and fourth on the team with 13 multiple-hit games ... Named UMAC Player of the Week on May 2 ... Matched her career high with three hits, driving in three runs, on April 30 at Bethany Lutheran as the Yellowjackets claimed the UMAC regular-season title with a 4-1 victory ... Earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition as well as UMAC Academic All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season.

2021: Started all 34 games she played at third base as a freshman ... Batted .245 (23-for-94) with six doubles, one triple, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored ... Tied for second on the team with 13 walks and was fourth with eight stolen bases ... Had three sacrifice flies and four sacrifice hits ... Registered seven multiple-hit games and five multi-RBI games ... Posted a season-high three hits with a double, three runs scored -- including the winning run -- and two RBIs in a 5-4 home victory over Northwestern on April 9 ... Scored a season-best four times in a 16-7 game-two win at Martin Luther on April 14 ... Earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition as well as UMAC Academic All-Conference honors.

Before UWS: Daughter of Dave and Karla Kukowski ... Born June 9, 2002 ... Sister, Jessi, is a freshman on the UWS women's tennis team ... Graduate of Hermantown High School with honors in 2020 ... Played basketball and softball for the Hawks ... Earned All-Lake Superior Conference second-team honors in 2019 in softball ... Garnered all-state academic team honors in both sports in 2020 ... Named second-team all-conference in basketball as a senior and the Hawks' most valuable player ... Helped lead softball team to 2017 Section 7AAA championship ... Team finished as runner up in the Minnesota 3A title game in 2017 ... Led the team to the 2020 Lake Superior Conference basketball title as well as section championship ... Father, Dave (1982-84), was an all-American for the UWS men's hockey team in 1984, captaining the 1983-84 Yellowjackets, before graduating with a bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1985 ... Also earned an Elementary Education certification and masters from UWS in 1988 ... Bryton is also a member of the Yellowjackets' women's basketball team and studies Psychology at UW-Superior.
