Nore Heinitz

Nore Heinitz

Nore Heinitz enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Yellowjacket men's and women's tennis programs in 2025-26. She assists head coach CeeJay Schaffner with all facets of the program.

A native of Duluth, Minn., Heinitz played varsity tennis for Marshall High School since seventh grade. She took third place at the Minnesota Single A State Tournament in 2015, participating in singles, along with being a member of the Northern National Teams every year since 2013. 

Furthermore, Heinitz is a two-time Northern Sectional singles champion and a five-time doubles title winner. She ranked fifth in the Plains Region by TennisRecruiting.net.

Heinitz had a storied playing career, attending NCAA Division I North Dakota. She was named co-captain as a junior and senior, and exited the Fighting Hawks program as the all-time leader in wins with 134. Heinitz was honored with Summit League Player of the Week honors on three occasions while grabbing a pair of All Summit League plaudits.

She was named to the Summit League All-Academic Team on three occasions, along with collecting a spot on the #SummitTEN Academic All-League Team for three seasons, as well.

Off the court, Heinitz surpassed 150 hours of community service and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Heinitz graduated from North Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, while minoring in nutrition. She is furthering her education at UW-Superior, pursuing a Master's Degree in health and wellness management.

Along with her coaching duties, Heinitz earned her certificate in Yoga Sculpt teaching. She is an instructor at Pulse Barre and Fitness in her hometown of Duluth, a position she's held since September 2025.

Heinitz resides in Duluth, Minn.
