Sam Romutis enters his first season as the inaugural head coach for the Club Men's Hockey Program in 2024-25. He was named to the position May 6, 2025.
Romutis arrives to UW-Superior after serving as an assistant coach with the Texas Roadrunners of the North American Tier III Hockey League (NA3HL). His efforts aided the team to a 44-41-8-1 mark across his two seasons on staff.Â
Additionally, Romutis served as an assistant coach for the Odessa Jackalopes of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Romutis brings a wealth of knowledge throughout the hockey community, working with teams at levels from youth through junior hockey and specializing in position players and goaltender hockey camps.
