Game three of the tournament proved that the Yellowjackets have heart on the court. After losing the first two sets, the Yellowjackets rallied in the final three sets to come out victorious over the Green Knights. This was the first time this year that UW-Superior would go the full five sets in a match. Not only did they win the final three sets but they showed improvement in almost every aspect, throughout the match.

Wirtz lead the team with 45 digs.  She was backed by Keely Deadrick (Esko, Minn./Esko) who had 21 digs and a team high 44 assists.
