The University of Northwestern defense silenced the University of Wisconsin Superior, holding the Yellowjackets without a shot as the Eagles shut out UWS 2-0 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bailey Henderson (Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul H.S.) made 12 saves for the Yellowjackets, but UW-Superior (1-14-0, 1-6-0 UMAC) could not produce the offense to help her. Northwestern (9-6-0, 5-2-0 UMAC) jumped out to an early lead as Dana Lehtinen scored for the Eagles in the sixth minute. They would tack on a second first-half score when Megan Larsen turned a pass from Anna Hitterdal into a goal at the 37:14 mark of the half. Northwestern out-shot the Yellowjackets 23-0 in the match and 14-0 on-goal.
