Freshman forward Molly Shelton (Pine Island, Minn./Pine Island H.S.) scored the third goal of her career for UW-Superior (4-4-0, 1-1-0 WIAC) on the powerplay in the second period, putting the Yellowjackets up at 15:58 assisted by senior forward Hailey Adair (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park H.S.) and junior defender Maggie Cragg (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park H.S.).  UWS finished 1-for-6 on powerplay chances, but surrendered a short-handed goal to Maggie Ingbretson at 19:48 of the second period. She was assisted by Alex Grubbs and Lexi Englund to knot the game at 1-1 heading to the second intermission.
