The University of Wisconsin Stout stood true to its name, quieting the University of Wisconsin Superior on offense as the Blue Devils knocked off the Yellowjackets 6-0 at Nelson Field in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Tuesday evening.
UW-Superior (0-2-0) put five shots on goal against the UW-Stout (2-3-1) defense, with each turned away by goalkeeper Lynn Johnson. Yellowjacket senior goalkeeper
Bailey Henderson (Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul H.S.) made seven stops, but the Blue Devils had too many chances, taking 25 shots in the match-up including 13 on-net. Sasha Todey scored a pair of goals, the first two for UW-Stout, putting them up by one within three minutes and up by two within 15. She added an assist in the second half on the Blue Devils' fifth goal of the evening.
