UMAC Release | Season Statistics

SUPERIOR, Wis. (February 23, 2018) – The Yellowjackets host their third-straight UMAC Championship Saturday evening, playing the Bethany Lutheran Vikings.

The 'Jackets used a second-half run Wednesday night to beat the Northwestern Eagles 65-54. The 'Jackets were fueled by Hannah Norlin (Litchfield, Minn./Litchfield) who led the 'Jackets in scoring once again, getting 19 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks, while Hailey Kontny (Superior, Wis./Superior) pulled down the double-double with 13 total points and 11 rebounds.

Justine Larson (Stanchfield, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) put up a great line as she scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished five assists, blocked three shots, and stole the ball twice.

The Yellowjackets will need more fantastic play tomorrow night as they play a Vikings' team making their first-ever title game appearance.
