SUPERIOR, Wis.:Â Four UW-Superior men's basketball players scored in double figures, and
Carter Brown (Eau Claire. Wis./Regis Catholic) was 7-for-9 from 3-point range, as the Yellowjackets defeated Finlandia, 88-64, at Mertz Mortorelli Gym Monday.

Brown scored a career-high 23 points, and
Montroy Scott (Fridley, Minn./Columbia Heights) earned his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 boards as Superior won its second consecutive game to improve to 4-13 on the season.Â

Joseph Kramer (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) added a career-high 10 points off the bench in 18 minutes, while
Mac Reykdal (Washburn, Wis./Washburn) had 10 points and four boards.Â

UWS shot a season-best 53.7 percent from the floor, making 29-of-54 field goals, and also knocked down a season-high 16 3-pointers in the win.

Superior led wire-to-wire breaking open a tight game midway through the first half with a 17-4 run over a seven-minute span to a take a 36-19 lead with less than six minutes to play in the first half.

The 'Jackets went into the halftime locker room up, 46-19.

UWS stayed hot in the second half, shooting 56.5 percent from the field, and Brown tallied six treys, including three straight that helped grow the lead to 57-35 with just more than four minutes off the clock.

Brown and
Lucas LaMue (De Pere, Wis./Bay Port) combined for two more triples to extended it to a 28-point, 77-49 game with 6:25 to play and the 'Jackets coasted home from there.

Dylan Underwood led the Lions with 21 points and River Shumate added 12 as Finlandia fell to 0-13.
