Cami Sletta (Willmar, Minn./Willmar Senior) tallied 11 kills and hit .368 and classmate
Megan Holz (Savage, Minn./Burnsville) handed out 21 assists for the UW-Superior volleyball team, but UW-Stout had three players collect eight kills apeice in a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-20) win at Johnson Fieldhouse Tuesday.

The Blue Devils recorded 44 kills as a team, hitting .217 and had 10 blocks to improve to 14-5 on the season. With the loss, UWS fell to 8-11. The Yellowjackets also received 10 digs from freshman
Payton Scherber (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville Senior) and three blocks from fellow freshman
Cassy Teff (Foley, Minn./Foley).

Stout was led by Lexie Nelson, Amber Ripley and Kara Simonson offensively. To go with her eight kills, Ripley added 12 digs.

The Blue Devils made quick work of UWS in the first two sets, before Superior made things interesting in the third. The 'Jackets jumped out to a 6-2 edge with the help of two kills and two blocks by Teff. The lead grew to 10-5 on a kill from
Gina Baertsch (Farmington, Minn./Farmington Area) to go with two Stout errors.Â

The Blue Devils rallied, knotting the set at 11-11 on a ball-handling error. Kills by
Brylee Colligan (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) and Sletta briefly gave the lead back to UWS, but a Ripley kill at 19-19 gave Stout the lead for good.

The 'Jackets jump back into UMAC play Saturday at 3 p.m., hosting Minnesota Morris at Mertz Mortorelli Gym.Â
