BLOOMINGTON, Minn.: UW-Superior senior
Hannah Norlin (Litchfield, Minn./Litchfield) has been named to the D3hoops.com All-West Region Second Team, the organization announced Monday.
Norlin dominated the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, being named conference Player of the Year and a first-team selection while also earning five league player of the week awards, including four consecutively from Nov. 19-Dec. 10. Nationally, she claimed USBWA Division III Player of the Week on Dec.4. She was twice honored as part of D3hoops.com's Team of the Week.
Norlin ranked second in the UMAC in scoring at 17.3 points per game while leading the league in rebounding at 9.4 points per game. She was also second in field-goal percentage (53.3) and was eighth in free-throw percentage (71.8).
Norlin also averaged 1.6 blocks per game, which ranked fourth in the conference.
She posted 12 of the team's 14 double-doubles on the season.
Superior finished the season at 24-3, reaching the 20-win milestone for the fourth consecutive season.
