ORLANDO, Fla.: The UW-Superior women's tennis team topped Western New England, 5-4, on Sunday for its third victory of the season.

The Yellowjackets won doubles, 2-1, as Maya Callaway (Duluth, Minn./East) and Megan Dulong (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) beat Petra Martinellli and Kyra Palumbo, 8-3, and Alison Tollas (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) and Charlotte Zangs (Maplewood, Minn./North St. Paul) beat Jessica Cote and Rachel Bauer, 8-6.

Emily Wald (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) defeated Petra Martinelli in singles in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0. Callaway also topped Cote, 6-3, 6-0.

Kitana Honkola (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert) clinched the match for Superior with a 6-1, 1-6, 10-8 win over Janet Martinelli.

The Jackets return to action Tuesday at 5:30p.m. CT against Illinois Tech.
