Tennis Camps

High School Elite ($350)

This group is designed for the top high school boys and girls in the region who are serious about competitive tennis development and match play. Players in this group are expected to already possess advanced technical and tactical skills, along with competitive experience in both singles and doubles. Players in this group should be able to do the following: Consistently hit flat, slice, and kick serves. Use both topspin and slice ground strokes effectively. Construct points with purpose and understand offensive, defensive, and neutral shot selection. Sustain rallies with a shot tolerance of 5+ balls. Transition comfortably to the net and finish points. Compete confidently in both singles and doubles formats. Demonstrate strong movement, consistency, and court awareness. Players in this group are also expected to compete regularly outside of practice, with a recommendation of participating in at least one match play or tournament opportunity per month.
When: June 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30. July 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 28, 30. August 4 (each camp goes from 8-9:30 a.m.)
Where: Yellowjacket Outdoor Tennis Courts (can be moved inside due to weather)
Who: 9th-12th graders that are highly motivated looking to compete at the varsity, sectional, state, USTA, or collegiate level

High School ($150)
This group is designed for players who are continuing to build their competitive tennis foundation. Most players in this group have approximately 1-3 years of playing experience and are still developing consistency, point construction, and tactical understanding. Players in this group may be learning to rally consistently with purpose. Still be developing serve variety and reliability. Be newer to singles and doubles strategy. Have difficulty constructing points and recognizing offensive vs. defensive situations. Be improving movement, consistency, and confidence during match play. The focus of this group will be on developing strong fundamentals, improving consistency, learning tactical awareness, and building confidence in competitive situations. Players will continue progressing toward the skills and expectations required for the Elite High Performance Group.
When: June 23, 30. July 7, 14, 28. August 4 (each camp goes from 2-3:30 p.m.)
Where: Yellowjacket Outdoor Tennis Courts (can be moved inside due to weather)
Who: 9th-12th graders

Elementary and Middle School ($200)
This program is designed to introduce and develop young players in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment. Elementary and middle school players will be divided into level-based groups across our two banks of courts to ensure players are training with others of similar experience and ability. Players will progress through the USTA Red, Orange, and Green (ROG) low-pressure ball system, which is designed to help athletes develop proper technique, rally skills, movement, and confidence at an age-appropriate pace. Program goals include: Developing all beginner fundamentals of the game. Learning proper grips, strokes, footwork, and serving technique. Building rally consistency and cooperative play Introducing point play, scoring, and match situations. Improving athletic movement, coordination, and court awareness. Creating confidence and enjoyment through structured progression. As players improve, they will advance into more competitive rallying, live point play, and basic singles and doubles strategy. The overall focus is helping players build a strong foundation while fostering a lifelong enjoyment of tennis.
When: June 22, 24, 29. July 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 27, 29 (each camp goes from 4:30-5:30 p.m.)
