The University of Wisconsin-Superior has announced that it is now accepting nominations for individuals to be included as part of the UW-Superior Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

"Being inducted into the Hall of Fame, not just here but anywhere, is the pinnacle of a person's athletic career, and we're excited to be welcoming a new class into our UW-Superior Athletics Hall of Fame," said UW-Superior Athletics Director Nick Bursik. "It's going to be another great celebration of some of the greatest to ever put on a uniform here at UW-Superior."

People wishing to nominate individuals or teams for induction are encouraged to fill out the application materials located on the UW-Superior Hall of Fame web site. The time for submitting applications is open from now until April 19. Individuals and teams elected into the Hall of Fame will be notified in May, with the induction ceremony taking place Saturday, July 20.

Once again in 2019 the Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place in conjunction with the UW-Superior Alumni Golf Outing, which is scheduled for Friday, July 19 at Nemadji Golf Course in Superior.
